Appalling Mr Garrett!

The Minister for the Environment, Peter Garrett's go ahead for dredging of port Phillip Bay is appalling, spineless and wrong, Greens Leader Bob Brown said today.
"I had hoped Peter's much-speculated study of the huge environmental impact of dredging on both the Bay and Melbourne traffic would see the project shelved. But the big end of town has won Garrett's nod. Australia does not have a Minister for the Environment worth the title," Senator Brown said.
Last Friday night Minister Garrett gave the first go-ahead for Gunns' pulp mill in Tasmania's Tamar Valley.
