The release of the wood supply agreement signed in December by the Premier has brought this comment from Greens Leader Bob Brown, who has just returned from a helicopter trip to the threatened forests of the Weld and Styx valleys.
"Premier Lennon announced he was getting a hybrid-Prius car on Friday and he's taking the chainsaw to Tasmania's forests on Tuesday," Senator Brown said.
"Eco-saviour on Friday, eco-butcher on Tuesday," Senator Brown said.
