Senator Brown and Drew Hutton will comment on the election result.
"Greens Preferences could be crucial both to who wins Government and whether One Nation wins seats," said Senator Brown.
"The Greens have been active in campaigning against One Nation and campaigning for the environment, recently organising nation-wide peaceful protests urging voters to put the Hanson party last.
"The Greens have put One Nation last in all 46 seats where we are standing. In seats like Gympie, Hervey Bay and Maryborough Greens preferences could be critical in making sure One Nation candidates do not get elected.
"The Greens have preferenced to the ALP over the Coalition in this election. However the Democrats have not preferenced to the ALP in all but 10 electorates.
"Greens votes are likely to determine whether the ALP gets over the line to win Government with preferences likely to be particularly crucial in tipping out Liberal candidates in Brisbane seats.
"Recent polls have showed the Greens vote increasing after being 1% last year," said Senator Brown.
