Tasmania's Greens Senators Bob Brown and Christine Milne have rejected out of hand Bill Kelty's condition that a forest agreement must endorse Gunns' pulp mill.

Mr Kelty is reported by The Mercury to have said that any agreement would require the environmental signatories to agree to the Bell Bay pulp mill.

Senators Brown and Milne reasserted that their time-honoured position is that any agreement by the environmental and logger signatories should reject Gunns' polluting factory at Bell Bay.
