Invitation to Her Majesty The Queen to visit Tasmania

Greens Leader Bob Brown has repeated his request to the Prime Minister to pass on an invitation to Her Majesty The Queen to visit Tasmania when she visits Australia for CHOGM in October.

“Her Majesty  would get a very very enthusiastic welcome in Tasmania,” Senator Brown said.

“While I am a republican the Queen remains our head of state and Tasmanians would love to see her in the coming spring,” Senator Brown said.
