Greens support Lock the Gate president in CSG court case

Australian Greens Leader Bob Brown and mining spokesperson Larissa Waters will attend a rally in Dalby today to support Drew Hutton, President of the Lock the Gate Alliance, in his appearance before the Magistrates Court.

"I have known Drew for 30 years. He is a co-founder of the Australian Greens. His courage and integrity are formidable characteristics when lined up against this money-hungry, invasive coal seam gas industry," Senator Brown said.

The Australian Greens are celebrating the historic Senate vote for world-leading legislation to tackle the global nemesis of climate change.

Australian Greens Leader Bob Brown congratulated Greens Deputy Leader Christine Milne and the Gillard government for giving Australia a real breakthrough in tackling that nemesis of climate change.

Bob Brown comments on the Qantas hearing, pokies, coal seam gas

Australian Greens Leader Bob Brown spoke to reporters today about Qantas chief executive Alan Joyce withholding his lockout plans from the Government and doing enormous damage to Qantas.
